Job summary

LinkedCorp HR Consultancy Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support tender preparation, cost evaluation, and subcontractor payment processes in a dynamic construction environment.

You will analyse quotations, assess progress claims, and assist in finalizing accounts while collaborating with the project team to meet all contract requirements. Immediate or short-notice start is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
• 2–3 years of experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in tender submission, including take off, quotations, and tender documents.
• Analyse and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers for best terms.
• Assess subcontractors' progress claims and prepare payment responses within deadlines.
• Assist Contract Managers in assessment of variation orders and extension of time by subcontractors and suppliers, including final accounts.
• Collaborate with project team to ensure all project requirements are met.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in tender submission, including taking off, calling for quotations and preparation of tender documents for the submission of tender.
• Analyse and evaluate the received quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure optimal terms
• Assess Subcontractor's Progress Claims and prepare Payment response within stipulated timeline
• Assist the Contract Managers for assessment of Variation Orders and Extension of Time by Subcontractor and Suppliers including finalization of accounts.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure that all project requirements are met
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Efficient, good analytical skills and able to work independently.
• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
• Possess 2-3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad.
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period.
