Job summary

GLOBALWIDE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. invites a Diploma/ Degree holder in Quantity Surveying to join our project team in Singapore. The role covers take-off quantities, tender submissions, Bills of Quantities, and contract administration.

You will source sub-contractors and suppliers, evaluate price comparisons, monitor costs against the budget, handle variation works, progress claims, and final accounts with clients and subcontractors. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to take instructions and work independently.
• Good communication and interaction with all levels.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Take off quantities, pricing and prepare tender submissions.
• Prepare Bills of Quantity.
• Source for sub-contractors and suppliers; evaluate price comparisons and costing.
• Analyze project specifications to recommend cost-saving measures.
• Assist project team with variation works, progress claims and cost control.
• Monitor project cost per plan; budget tracking.
• Measure and determine work done to evaluate progress and claims by sub-contractors.
• Assist in final accounts with client, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Carry out contract administration duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Taking off quantities, pricing and preparation of tender submission
• Prepare Bills of Quantity
• Source for sub-contractors and suppliers, evaluation of price comparison and costing summary
• Analyze project specifications to recommend cost-saving measures
• Assist Project Team for Variation Works, Progress Claim and Cost Control
• Monitor and keep track of project cost as per planned schedule and budget
• Measure and determine amount of work done at stages to evaluate progress and contractual claims by sub-contractors
• Assist in the settlement of final accounts with client, suppliers, and sub-contractors
• Carry out contract administration duties

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Degree Holders in Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a recognized institution / University
• At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Be able to take instructions and work independently
• Good communications skills, able to interact with people of all levels
• Able to work well in a team
