Job summary

NGAI CHIN CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare tender documents, cost estimates, and pricing submissions for tender exercises. You will participate in tender interviews and support project presentations as required.

You will prepare, monitor, and control project budgets to ensure cost efficiency, handle RVOs, and manage progress/ final accounts. Coordinate with teams to ensure smooth project execution and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Preference for QS/Engineering/Architecture graduates with ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant pre-tender and post-tender project management experience.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam software and proficiency in MS Excel is advantageous.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other related disciplines.


• Graduates from QS, Engineering, or Architecture backgrounds are preferred, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings effectively.


• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in both pre-tender and post-tender project management is required.


• Familiarity and practical experience with Bluebeam software will be an added advantage.


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost-related documentation.


• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.


• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
