Job summary

HO SIN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to support cost estimation, budgeting, tendering and contract management across construction projects.

You will analyse project specs, quantify materials, liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, prepare variation orders, and ensure accurate cost control while meeting tight deadlines. Strong communication, analytical and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Building or equivalent.
• 2 years autocad drafting experience is advantageous.
• Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical with problem solving, proactive and a team player.
• Good communication and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
• Strong project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draw Autocad shop drawings.
• Prepare and analyze cost comparisons.
• Analyze project specifications, quantify materials and resources, and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine material quantities and costs.
• Develop budgets considering labor, materials, equipment, and contingencies.
• Obtain quotations, liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Measure quantities and take-offs.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
• Prepare tendering works for submission.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Mitigate risks and resolve disputes during the project.
• All other QS related job.

Job Requirements:
