Job summary

TECHNIQUES AIR-CONDITIONING & ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to interpret drawings, perform quantity take-offs, and manage subcontractor contracts. You will prepare progress payment claims and collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate cost assessments and contract administration.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveying, with 2 years of QS experience; entry level considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 2 years' experience in quantity surveying preferred; entry level considered.
• Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings to perform quantity take-offs and verify works.
• Source quotations and prepare price comparisons from suppliers/subcontractors.
• Measure progress and prepare progress payment claims.
• Administer subcontractor contracts and review variation costs.
• Process payments to subcontractors and suppliers per contract terms.
• Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate cost assessments.
• Coordinate with site teams for final measurement and close-out.
