ANDERCO PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a motivated Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost planning and control from tender to final account. You will manage budgeting, cost analysis, contract administration, and progress claims to ensure projects are profitable and compliant with contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost planning and control across the project lifecycle.
• Ability to prepare BOQ and tender documentation.
• Strong communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) including quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and assist in tender documentation.
• Understand and manage tender activities to ensure timely completion within deadlines.
• Source and evaluate new suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and maintain quality standards.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate terms, and assist in preparing subcontractor agreements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on contractual and cost-related matters, including variation orders.
• Conduct cost analysis, control and manage project costs, and assess variation orders to ensure adherence to budget.
• Monitor material and labour costs, and prepare regular cost and financial reports.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts to client in collaboration with project teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Review subcontractor progress claims and prepare payment responses based on site progress and work completed, including variations.
• Attend site walk with clients for progress claims and follow up on approvals and certifications.
