Job summary

ENGIE Southeast Asia is seeking a qualified CSA Quantity Surveyor for a 2-year contract in Singapore. You will manage costs, prepare estimates and budgets, and support procurement and contract administration for Design & Build Data Centre projects.

You will evaluate quotations, prepare tender documents, and review subcontracts while ensuring compliance with contracts and cost control practices. Strong reading of drawings and bid documents is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Civil Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in CSA quantity surveying or construction projects.
• In-depth understanding of construction materials, pricing and industry practices.
• Understand bid/tender documents/drawings/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Cost management, procurement support and contract administration for Design & Build Data Centre projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and cost plans for CSA works at various project stages.
• Monitor project costs, track variations, and support value engineering initiatives.
• Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking for civil, structural, and architectural elements.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and provide recommendations.
• Prepare and review tender documents, BOQs, and cost breakdowns for CSA packages.
• Assist in the administration of subcontracts and main contracts for CSA scope.
• Assess and certify progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Manage contract documentation and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Review subcontractor progress claims and prepare payment recommendations.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers and consultants on CSA matters.
• Provide cost advice during design development and construction phases.
