Job summary

SUN CITY MAINTENANCE PTE. LTD. in the Central Region invites a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our growing cleaning services division on a full-time basis.

You will be responsible for project costing, budgeting, and financial management to ensure competitive pricing, profitability, and quality service delivery. The role requires a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field and a minimum of five years' relevant experience. Working days are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and project works.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
• Review and verify contractors' quotations, invoices, and payment claims.
• Monitor project costs, contracts, variations, and provisional sums.
• Conduct joint measurements and verify completed works with contractors.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate tenders, and recommend suitable contractors.
• Review contract documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and project costing.
• Manage contractors' works, including quotations, variations, and claims.
• Monitor performance bonds, bank documents, and insurance requirements.
• Prepare progress payment and final account recommendations.
• Conduct regular project audits and cost checks.
• Provide professional advice on contract matters, penalties, and liquidated damages.
• Support term contractors for A&A works.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.

Job Details

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Salary range: $3000 to $4500
