Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to manage tenders, prepare BOQs, and monitor project budgets. The role requires hands-on experience with take-offs for stone, tile and cladding works, and familiarity with SIA/PSSCOC contracts.

The ideal candidate has a tertiary qualification in QS or construction management, 2+ years in Singapore construction, and strong Excel/AutoCAD skills. Expect a 5-day work week and a salary up to SGD 4,000 + bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Construction Management.
• 2+ years of QS experience in Singapore construction.
• Proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Solid grasp of local measurement standards and contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Tenders & Estimates: Perform quantity take-offs for natural stone, tiles, and cladding systems; prepare BOQs and tender submissions.
• Costing & Sourcing: Request supplier/quarry quotes, calculate fabrication yield/wastage, and manage project budgets.
• Claims & Contracts: Handle monthly progress claims, variation orders (VOs), joint site measurements, and final account settlements.
• Contract Admin: Administer standard contracts (SIA / PSSCOC) and handle negotiations with main contractors and clients.
