Leap Integrated Pte Ltd invites applications for a Quantity Surveyor role, with a track record in building projects and expertise in public tender processes. You will manage finances from inception to completion, ensuring cost control and successful tender submissions.
The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of QS experience, proficiency in measurement and cost estimation, and hands-on familiarity with tender documentation and standard contract forms (PSSCOC/SIA). Immediate start is an advantage.
We are seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record in building projects (Archi & Structural) and comprehensive knowledge of the local public tender framework. You will manage project finances from inception to completion, ensuring robust cost control and successful tender submissions.
Responsible for Progress Claims, Variation Orders, Final Accounts and Sub-contractor Progress Claims.
Taking off quantities, obtaining quotations from subcontractors and supplier
Provide estimates and evaluate costing to achieve competitive costing for tender submission
Estimate, develop & manage construction schedule, method of statement, and temporary plan
Able to Source and Liaise with Site Personnel, Suppliers, Subcontractors, Consultants and/or Architects for all project-related matters.
Any other duties that are deemed required to complete the works
Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of relevant QS experience in building construction projects (pre and post-contract).
Tender Expertise: Well-versed in the public tender process, including hands-on experience with public sector procurement portals and tender documentation.
Technical Skills: Proficient in measurement and taking-off quantities, cost estimation, and preparation of tender submissions.
Contract Administration: Experienced in evaluating variation orders (VO), processing progress payments, and settling final accounts.
Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with standard forms of contract (e.g., PSSCOC / SIA) and relevant building regulations.
Software Proficiency: Competent in QS software (e.g. Bluebeam) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Able to start work immediately is an advantage.
