Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQ.

• Maintain project documentation and contract administration.
• Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors.

We are seeking an experiencedSenior/ Quantity Surveyorto join our team on a3-year contract. This role is ideal for professionals with strong consultancy or contractor experience who are passionate about cost management, contract administration, and delivering successful construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assess and manage Variation Order (VO) works for subcontract packages.
• Measure, price, and evaluate contract VO claims.
• Process monthly progress claims and final accounts.
• Manage contract administration and maintain project documentation.
• Perform remeasurement for subcontractor payments and final account settlements.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgetary cost reports.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on project cost matters.
• Obtain supplier quotations and support procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organised project documentation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Quantity Surveyors where required.

Requirements

• PSPC-recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Professional qualifications such asSISV, AIQS, or RICSwill be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Experience in contract administration and project documentation.
• Prior experience with a consultancy firm is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Technical Skills

• Proficient inMicrosoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using quantity take-off and cost measurement software.
