Job summary

GAIN CITY ENGINEERING (M&E) PTE LTD is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to handle general quantity surveying duties, pre/post contract work, take-off quantities, cost control, variations, and tender administration.

You will prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, claims and bills of quantities; monitor material schedules and supplier costs; and provide AutoCAD and BIM support with sketches and construction drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field is required.
• Experience as a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general quantity surveying duties: pre/post contract, take-off quantities, cost control, variations, finalization of cost, tender admin.
• Prepare and monitor tender documents, contracts, budgets, claims, bills of quantities and site documentation.
• Prepare material schedules & cost analysis.
• Monitor site progress and manage sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Provide AutoCAD and BIM support with sketches and construction drawings.
• Handle other admin duties as assigned by the Manager.

• Conduct general quantity surveying duties such as pre/post contract duties, taking-off quantities, cost control, variations, finalization of cost and tender administrative duties and Material Inquiries & procurement.
• Prepare and monitor tender documents, contracts, budgets, claims, bills of quantities and site related documentation.
• Prepare the material schedule & cost analysis.
• Monitor the site progress, and confirms sub-contractors, vendors and supplier's obligations.
• Provide AutoCAD, BIM support in the form of sketches, shop drawings or construction drawings.
• Any other admin jobs and duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

• Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• Experience as a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
