Job summary

KYK DESIGN & BUILD PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a capable Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator to support steelworks projects. You will prepare cost estimates, tenders, and variations, and review contracts and drawings to protect project value.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong cost estimation and drawing interpretation skills, and the ability to work independently with good communication. Immediate availability is preferred for fast-start engagements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in QS, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Min 2–3 years' experience in steelwork QS or contract admin.
• Proficient in cost estimation, negotiation, and drawing interpretation.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and possess good communication skills.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, MTOs, and tender proposals for steel/metal works.
• Review contracts, drawings, and specs; manage subcontracts and variations.
• Handle monthly claims, VOs, and final accounts; ensure timely payment and documentation.
• Track budgets, cost control, and cash flow; prepare reports for management.
• Liaise with project, engineering, and procurement teams; attend client meetings.
• Other ad-hoc duties.
