Job summary

SSANGYONG ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for the NSC N111 project in Singapore. The candidate will handle take-offs, tender submissions, and cost analysis, with exposure to both tunnelling and elevated structures under LTA standards.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent and about 2 years of relevant experience in bid/estimation for building construction.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• 2 years of working experience in quantity surveying and bid/estimation process of building construction.
• Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork.
• Ability to deal with multicultural teams.
• Must have experience in quantity survey/calculation/take-off.

Responsibilities

• Taking off quantities, sourcing subcontractors & suppliers, pricing and preparation of tender submission.
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.
• Utilizing tools and templates for bid analysis and cost management.
• Engaging and managing third party Quantity Surveyor contracts.
• Identify Value Engineering opportunities in the design and quantify the savings.
• Updating repository for historical data.
• Other ad-hoc duties assign.

Project Introduction

Project Overview (NSC N111 Project)

The North-South Corridor (NSC) N111 project is a major infrastructure development comprising approximately 2.76 km of dual 3-lane carriageway, including 1.28 km of tunnel works and 1.13 km of viaduct structures. This project offers a unique opportunity to gain integrated experience across both tunnelling and elevated viaduct construction under Singapore LTA standards. Following a recent extension of time, the project is expected to be completed by end2029, providing candidates with a minimum of 3 years of stable project exposure.
