Job summary

QIDONGJINHUA CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage claims, variation orders, budgets and final accounts within Singapore’s construction sector.

The role involves tender preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration, with coordination across subcontractors and suppliers. Strong communication and independent work habits are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably experience in HDB projects.
• Relevant experience in Singapore construction industry.
• Experience in RC and Wet Trade projects preferred.
• Knowledge of costing, tendering, and contract administration.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation and timely submission of claims, variation orders, budget & cost control and settlement of final account.
• Documents preparation for sourcing of quotations for both pre and post tender stages
• Preparation of tender evaluation, conduct negotiation with subcontractors & suppliers
• To ensure a timely closure of all main contract
• Quantity take off, cost estimate, contract administrations and support in tender exercise
• Liaise with Maincontractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings and handle contractual issues
• To attend progress meetings, technical meetings, material submission meetings and etc to capture all variation claims and potential variation works and time implication.
