Job summary

LITEC ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to manage tendering, cost planning and contract administration for building projects.

You will prepare tender documents, evaluate subcontractor bids and monitor project budgets to ensure profitability. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building and a minimum of nine years’ experience in building construction. Knowledge of structural drawings is advantageous and you will collaborate closely with

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building.
• Minimum of nine years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within building construction.
• Knowledge of structural drawings is beneficial.
• Familiar with structural drawings for tender and job orders.

Responsibilities

• Enroll tender process.
• Prepare tender documents.
• Prepare profit and loss & final account for project.
• Negotiate and award subcontractors.
• Attend project meetings, tender interviews and inspections, report progress and monitor schedule.
• Evaluate and certify subcontract claims and contractual payments.
• Analysis and preparation of cost plan & estimate for tender and job order.
• Review and prepare agreements for award to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in preparing built-up tender pricing during tender stage.
• Plan and schedules works with reference to contractual schedules.
• Coordinate instructions & monitor with sales team, production, and clients for job order & design specification, acceptance of work, progress of work, problem solving, handover completed project with project documents, etc...
• Assist in preparation of project budget for management's approval upon project award.
• Ensure workplace is well-maintained, tidy & safe.
• Plan & implement effective, efficient production and safe practices.
• Attend site meetings.
• Collaborate with team to propose design and materials based on budget and client requirement to obtain material dimension, design & specification from site.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveyor/Building or equivalent experience in Building Construction firm.
• Minimum (NINE) 9 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying Works in building construction firm.
• Knowledge of structural will be beneficial.
• Familiar with Structural drawings to prepare for tender and job order.
• Highly motivated Responsible& team player with good interpersonal skill.
