Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably with local and Asia projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract admin, tendering, and post-contract management processes.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
• Assess the degree of hazards and risks to ensure workplace safety is maintained.
• Communicate with management, contractors and sub-contractors on adjustments to cost estimates.
• Conduct negotiations during the course of the project to ensure issues are resolved.
• Control project scope to meet objectives and enhance deliverables and key activities.
• Develop cost reduction strategies to enhance overall project value.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliance with standards.

• Prepare the cost analysis for the project in order to ensure the overall value is enhanced.
• Provide advice on contractual claims so that the project scope is managed

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably with local and Asia projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of cost estimation, contract administration, tendering, and post-contract management processes.
