Job summary

Singlife invites a quantitative analyst to contribute to the Investment Office’s global portfolio management. You will leverage AI advances and state‑of‑the‑art technology to improve investment performance, starting at Associate level with 2–3 years experience.

A strong coding background and finance interest are essential. You will build a robust data model, master front office interfaces, and automate risk and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Academic background: bachelor’s degree in CS, mathematics, physics or engineering.
• Proven coding ability in Python, C/C++, Java, R, SQL in a formal software development environment.
• Assessment and Fit & Proper checks completed annually or with adjunct appointments.

Responsibilities

• Build a solid information-technical foundation for the investment office over the first 1–2 years.
• Develop data models and internal relational database structures.
• Achieve high proficiency with BlackRock Aladdin for front-office integration.
• Automate reporting (risk, performance) using Python and related tools.
• Develop workflows to support data models and automated tools, plus middle-office AI/LLM tools.
• Present and explain portfolio reports to internal committees.
• Post-build, contribute to systematic investment processes and AI/LLM research for asset allocation and trading strategies.
