Job summary

CHINA LIFE INSURANCE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an analytics-focused investment research associate to support securities, funds, and financial product analyses.

You will monitor portfolio performance and risk, prepare senior-management reports, and aid in asset allocation and manager assessments. You will leverage data analytics tools, assist in due diligence on third-party fund managers, and contribute to ad hoc analyses such as stress testing and ESG data tracking.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative field.
• Internships, academic projects or personal projects welcome; no full-time experience required.
• Strong analytical and data-processing skills; proficiency in Excel.
• Interest in investments and willingness to learn across asset classes.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, able to work independently in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Support investment research and analysis on securities, funds and financial products.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk and attribution; prepare reporting for senior management and investment committees.
• Leverage data analytics tools for asset allocation, portfolio analytics, risk analytics, and manager assessment.
• Assist due diligence on third-party fund managers (public and private markets).
• Provide analytical support on ad hoc projects (fund screening, stress testing, asset allocation).
• Assist monitoring portfolio compliance with guidelines and MAS regulations.
• Coordinate with custodian, data vendors, HQ, and other departments.
