Job summary

PRISM+ seeks a Quality Engineer to lead defect analysis and root-cause investigations across product categories and SKUs. You will collaborate with Product, RMA and Operations, drive corrective actions with suppliers, and monitor new launches to ensure early issues are caught and fixed.

The role requires an engineering degree and experience in consumer electronics quality, with strong data skills and the ability to influence teams without formal authority.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical/hardware/structural or similar field.
• Experience in product quality, supplier quality or quality engineering in consumer electronics or similar hardware.
• Structured problem-solving approach using methods like 8D, 5-Whys or fishbone analysis.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturers to resolve quality issues.
• Comfort with data; ability to spot trends in spreadsheets or dashboards and explain clearly.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Curiosity about how products work and why they fail (hardware, firmware, batteries).

Responsibilities

• Track and analyse defect trends by product category and SKU.

Job Responsibilities:

• Tracking and analysing defect trends by product category and SKU, so issues are caught early
• Leading root-cause investigations with our Product, RMA and Operations teams, using returned units, repair data and customer feedback.
• Working with suppliers and our Product team to drive corrective actions, and follow through on design and firmware changes
• Keeping a close eye on new product launches so early issues are caught and fixed quickly.
• Sharing clear, data-backed quality updates with leadership and turn them into agreed actions.
• Building the processes and tools for a quality function that grows with the business.
• Any other adhoc activites as assigned by the Company.

• Possesses a engineering degree - electrical, hardware, structural etc
• Experience in product quality, supplier quality or quality engineering, ideally in consumer electronics, appliances or similar hardware.
