• Currently pursuing or recently completed Higher Nitec, Diploma, or Degree in Precision Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of metrology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and hands-on approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections in accordance with quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality and in-process documentation.
• Ensure proper document control for audit readiness.
• Prepare and verify Certificate of Conformance for outgoing shipments.
• Analyse quality data using tools such as Minitab.
• Support investigation and resolution of quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in‑process, and outgoing inspections (measurement and cosmetic checks) in accordance with quality standards
• Prepare and maintain quality and in‑process documentation (e.g., inspection reports, last shot reports, QA plans, inspection standards)
• Ensure proper document control, including versioning, filing, and record traceability for audit readiness
• Prepare and verify Certificate of Conformance (COC) for outgoing shipments
• Analyse quality data (e.g., CPK, SPC) using tools such as Minitab
• Support investigation and resolution of quality issues with the Quality Engineer/Manager, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
