Job summary

MCI Career Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to uphold ISO and Food Safety standards and to lead a team of more than 12 staff in a packaging-focused environment. The role requires strong leadership, strict adherence to procedures, and a commitment to customer specifications and product reliability.

Located at Gul Circle with company transport and a 5-day work week, the position offers a competitive salary and opportunities for process improvements and new materials

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quality Management, Food Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
• Knowledge of ISO and HACCP management system implementation.
• Experience leading a team of more than 12 staff.
• Good leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Manager, Operations Manager and Director in ensuring product quality standards are met and ISO and Food Safety requirements are properly implemented and updated.
• Ensure all established procedures and work instructions are followed.
• Ensure products manufactured meet customer specifications and required quality and reliability standards.
• Ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent the occurrence of quality-related non-conformities.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming products and ensure adequate corrective actions are taken.
• Identify and record issues relating to products, processes and quality.
• Ensure the Quality Management System and Food Safety Management System are effectively implemented and maintained.
• Ensure internal quality audits and management reviews are carried out accordingly.
• Assist in research and development of new products and testing of new materials.
