Job summary

VDL ETG Singapore is seeking a Quality Excellence Engineer to drive continuous improvement across operations. You will lead data-driven problem solving, deploy quality strategies and build a culture of quality excellence.

This role focuses on Lean Six Sigma, SPC and RCA, with responsibilities spanning KPI analysis, process assessments and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable quality gains. The successful candidate will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and supply chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Min. 3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or process improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma / SPC / 8D / RCA tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel (Minitab is a plus).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma, SPC, and RCA tools
• Analyze quality data, monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities
• Conduct process assessments and support implementation of enhancements
• Track and report quality performance and improvement actions
• Support development and delivery of quality training programs
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and industry requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiative
