Job summary

VDL ETG Singapore seeks a Quality Excellence Engineer to drive continuous improvement across operations, employing data-driven problem solving and supporting quality strategy deployment. The role emphasizes process enhancement and building a culture of quality excellence.

Responsibilities include leading Lean Six Sigma, SPC and RCA-based improvements, analyzing quality data, training programs, and cross-functional collaboration to uphold high standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or process improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma / SPC / 8D / RCA tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel (Minitab is a plus).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma, SPC, and RCA tools.
• Analyze quality data, monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct process assessments and support implementation of enhancements.
• Track and report quality performance and improvement actions.
• Support development and delivery of quality training programs.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and industry requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiative.
