Contract duration – 12 months [renewable]

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test scripts throughout the application lifecycle.
• Apply business and functional knowledge to create end-to-end testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies.
• Lead and manage testing activities across multiple projects or releases.
• Prepare and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and reports aligned with project objectives.
• Define and enforce testing standards, processes, and best practices.
• Coordinate with development, business, and product teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Oversee test execution, regression, and UAT activities.
• Mentor and guide team members, ensuring workload distribution and skill development.
• Participate in requirements reviews to ensure testability and completeness.
• Provide testing estimates and contribute to release readiness assessments.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• (Optional) Design and execute automation scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of software testing experience, including 2+ years in a Test Lead role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail).
• Expertise in functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple testing efforts across releases.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
