Job summary

Aurora Asia Pacific is seeking a Quality Engineer to support precision stamping quality systems in West Singapore. You will manage QMS compliance, conduct audits, perform inspections and drive corrective actions with production teams.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering diploma/degree and 3–5 years QA/QC experience in precision manufacturing, with knowledge of IATF16949 and GD&T. Salary up to SGD 4500 monthly.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in QA/QC, preferably in precision stamping, metal fabrication or automotive manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA and GD&T.
• Experience with measurement equipment such as CMM, micrometer and height gauge.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• IATF Internal Auditor / Six Sigma certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage QMS and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Conduct internal/customer audits and maintain quality documentation.
• Handle incoming, in-process and final inspections, including FAI and PPAP.
• Investigate quality issues and lead RCA, 8D and corrective actions.
• Work with Production, Tooling and Engineering teams to resolve stamping defects.
• Support quality improvement activities such as SPC, CPK and MSA.
• Handle customer complaints and monitor supplier quality.
• Prepare quality reports and analyse defect trends.
