GE Vernova Singapore Services Pte. Ltd. invites engineering students to join as a Quality Engineer Intern.

You will work on real projects, apply problem-solving tools like Root Cause Analysis and Lean Six Sigma, and collaborate with our global team to drive improvements. This internship offers hands-on experience in QA and quality improvement, data analysis, Kaizen concepts, and exposure to power generation service processes and non-destructive testing practices, all within a supportive learning

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Engineering degree.
• Comfortable using MS Office applications.
• Open-minded, inclusive, and ready to bring fresh ideas and courage to improve.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality team in QA and quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead or co-lead process improvement projects for operational excellence.
• Learn RCA and problem-solving tools by conducting RCAs and audits.
• Assist in creating product qualification packages and drafting work instructions.
• Gain hands-on experience with Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collect and analyze data to drive data-driven insights.
• Propose and help implement Kaizen ideas as part of a team.
• Gain exposure to power generation service and refurbishment processes.
• Explore metallurgical labs, NDT methods, calibration programs, and inspection technologies.

What You'll Do:

Support our Quality team in exciting Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement initiatives
Lead or co-lead process and quality improvement projects that drive operational excellence
Learn and apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving tools by conducting RCAs and Quality Audits
Assist in creating product qualification packages and drafting clear work instructions
Get hands-on experience with Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to make a real impact
Collect and analyze data to solve problems with data-driven insights
Propose and help implement Kaizen ideas as part of a dynamic team
Gain exposure to power generation service and refurbishment processes
Explore metallurgical labs, industrial non-destructive testing methods, calibration programs, and inspection technologies
