Job summary

GE Vernova Singapore Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Production Quality Manufacturing Engineer to lead the cell's quality assurance and control, focusing on KPI achievement and adherence to QMS.

You will drive PFMEA, MSA, RCA, and QIP initiatives, manage non-conformances, support audits, and nurture a built-in quality culture within the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least 3 years operational, quality and engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Strong communications, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Gas Turbine component manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 QMS and experience with internal audits.

Responsibilities

• Build-in-Quality (PFMEA, MSA) Champion for the cell.
• Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) for the cell.
• Daily review of non-conformances, defect rates monitoring for required short term, medium term and long term actions.
• Lead and Drive problem solving Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and effective implementation of Corrective and Preventive actions.
• Facilitate Quality Improvement Projects (QIP) to meet cell's SQDC KPIs.
• Drive initiatives to reduce defect rates.
• Owner of Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) issues and events in the cell.
• Resolution of customer's quality complaints related to cell's products.
• Support cell in implementation and adherence of Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements.
• Raise quality awareness, conduct quality briefs, monitor and exercise Quality Stop Works.
• Assigned supply chain internal auditor to facilitate/ conduct audits for compliance and improvements.

About the role

Desired Characteristics:

• Understanding of ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and experienced in quality internal audits

• Highly skilled in Root Cause Analysis especially in solving technical complex problems

• Practitioner of Lean/ 6 Sigma methodologies

• Experienced in sustaining built-in-quality culture in manufacturing industry
