Job summary

WELEAD SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED seeks a Quality Engineering professional in Singapore to develop and improve the department and product quality systems, ensuring specifications are met. You will lead improvement initiatives, support design reviews and drive PFMEA/DFMEA practices.

Responsibilities include audits, supplier change management, and implementing lessons learned to enhance reliability, usability and performance across products.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality/Product Design Engineering or Manufacturing.

• Develop, implement, and improve the department and product total quality system to assure product specification is met.
• Facilitate and work with team members on quality improvement by providing technical guidance in Quality Engineering tools applications.
• Carry out quality system or process audits to assure quality systems are in place.
• Provide technical support in engineering design review, drawing and specification review to drive risk mitigation ensuring product meets quality standards including reliability, usability and performance.
• Establish and implement manufacturing quality metrics and lead team to achieve goals and continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement, and improve product quality plan in connection with PFMEA and DFMEA.
• Drive quality system audits and support external IATF 16949 and TISAX audits to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Take charge of Material Review Board activity for raw materials, semi-finish goods and finish products; execute NC material disposition.
• Drive root cause analysis in problem diagnosis from customer anomaly/line fallout to ensure prevention and resolution.
• Change management with suppliers/manufacturing team with proper review and communication to customer for approval to implement.
• Meet department cost and quality objectives by identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Implement lessons learned across manufacturing and new product development projects.
• Perform special projects to support continuous improvement through standardization and process improvements.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations as set out by the EHS Department and government regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in a Quality /Product Design Engineering / Manufacturing environment preferred
