Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte ltd is seeking a Quality Engineer on a contract basis to drive functional and automation testing efforts. The role requires hands-on automation using Python and shell scripts, plus familiarity with Selenium, UFT, JIRA, and Postman.

Ideal candidates will hold a related degree and have 3+ years of QA experience in Agile environments, with knowledge of open-source tools such as RobotFramework, Selenium Webdriver, JMeter, Gatling, Locust, and security testing tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or infocomm-related discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional software quality testing experience with hands-on automation.
• Strong understanding of testing techniques, risk analysis.
• Strong understanding of test-driven development, CI/CD.
• Experience with automation scripting (Python and shell scripts).
• Experience with open-source automated testing frameworks (RobotFramework, Selenium Webdriver).
• Experience with open-source performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, Locust) or enterprise tools (HP LoadRunner).
• Experience with open-source penetration testing tools (ZAP, Burp Suite, SQL Map) or enterprise tools (HP WebInspect, Nessus, CheckMarx).
• Working experience in Agile environment will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and automation testing across applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, shell).
• Utilise open-source testing frameworks and tools for regression suites.
• Contribute to risk analysis and testing strategy in Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

Functional and Automation testing experience including tools such as Selenium, UFT, JIRA, Postman

• Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or infocomm-related discipline
