Quality Engineer

Our client is a global leading cloud infrastructure provider company. They are looking for Quality Engineer.

The role of the Quality Engineer includes:

  • To lead the quality improvements through working with production and relevant stakeholders on Kaizen activities and perform line audits.
  • Responsible for ship hold
  • To work with NPIE team on NPI documentation and system updates to ensure for production start and ramp.
  • To lead a team of Inspectors and technicians for Line Assembly Inspections and Out-Going Inspections to ensure smooth product delivery to customer.
  • To understand customer manufacturing quality requirement & align with the internal business strategies to meet Quality Objectives and KPIs.
  • Perform analysis on quality issues & defects and drive improvements with relevant departments to achieve quality KPI.
  • Track and monitor and manage production issues, customer complaints, drive and lead internal 8D cross‑functional team in resolving all corrective actions on time.
  • Deliver reports and presentations to management and customer on Quality Performance Metrics.
  • To collaborate with internal team and lead all product inspections and safety certification requirements by safety agency inspections.
Requirements
  • Degree with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong problem‑solving and interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure.
  • Proactiveness with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to provide constructive solution / advice to the team and out‑of‑box thinking.
  • Good knowledge in ISO management and customer audit working and understanding of RBA compliance.
