Job summary

Givaudan Singapore Pte Ltd invites a Quality Control Intern to support the QC team in a dynamic fragrance and beauty environment. You will assist with routine lab tasks, sample preparation, calibration, and documentation while collaborating with Creation, Application, and production teams.

Grow your practical lab skills in GLP/GMP settings, maintain a clean 5S workspace, and contribute to safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or relevant fields.
Experience using laboratory equipment and basic instruments.
Basic knowledge of chemical substances, acids, alkalis, solvents.

Responsibilities

Observe safety guidelines, wear PPE, report unsafe acts.
Maintain a clean, hygienic and organized workspace (5S).
Follow quality requirements including GLP, GMP, HACCP.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration checks.
Support lab functions: prepare solutions, maintain supplies, file papers.
Record and document, prepare samples for dispatch and store retained samples.
Assist in QC tests: weighing, densitometer, refractometer, moisture balance, Karl Fischer titrator, sieve, GC, color.
Identify opportunities to improve QC processes like melting point and titration.
