Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC) is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure finished wafers meet quality standards through inspection, defect detection, and failure analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues while overseeing inspection processes and supervising OQC operators.

Responsibilities include optimizing tool recipes, maintaining QA documentation, and ensuring FAB specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in semiconductor manufacturing and outgoing quality control management.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, semiconductor processes, analytics, and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and microscopic inspections on finished wafer to detect defects.
• Release, maintain, and set up recipes for inspection tools (AVI, OM, Sorter & Packing).
• Perform failure analysis on rejected parts, identifying root causes and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Integration and Modules engineering) to resolve customer claims and quality issues.
• Ensure cleanroom particle levels, air velocity, and UPW bacterial levels meet FAB specifications.
• Supervise OQC Operators, provide training on work instructions and final inspection procedures.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring finished wafers meet quality standards through final inspection, defect detection, and failure analysis. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and customer claims, while overseeing inspection processes, optimizing tool recipes, and supervising OQC operators to maintain high-quality performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and microscopic inspections on finished wafer to detect the defects.
• Release, maintain, and set up recipes for inspection tools (e.g. AVI, OM, Sorter & Packing tools)
• Perform failure analysis on rejected parts, identifying root causes, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Integration and Modules engineering) to resolve customer claims and quality issues.
• Ensure that cleanroom particle levels, air velocity, and UPW bacterial levels meet FAB specifications.
• Supervise OQC Operators, provide training on work instructions, final inspection procedures and finished Wafer packing.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and outgoing quality control management.
• Proficient in quality standards, knowledgeable on semiconductor processes, strong analytical, communication and quality tools (like SPC)
