MISTER MOBILE HOUGANG PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a proactive Quality Check Inspector to support our fast-growing operations team.

You will conduct inspections of used mobile devices, assess key components, and accurately grade devices according to internal standards. This role involves coordinating with warehouse and repair teams, ensuring proper data entry in the system, and meeting quality requirements before devices are released for sale.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided.
• Prior experience in mobile phone inspection, repair, or related field is an advantage.
• Good knowledge or strong interest in smartphone hardware.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of used mobile devices (phones/tablets), including functional and cosmetic checks.
• Assess components: screen, battery health, camera, buttons, connectivity.
• Accurately grade devices based on internal quality standards.
• Verify trade-in devices against declared condition and highlight discrepancies.
• Identify and flag all defects (functional and cosmetic) for proper classification.
• Coordinate defective devices with in-house repair team for action.
• Ensure devices are properly created/updated in system (IMEI, model, condition, defects, grading).
• Arrange delivery of devices to customers or stores after processing.
• Ensure devices meet quality standards before release for sale.
• Work with warehouse/operations teams to manage device flow and inventory.
• Maintain proper labelling, segregation, and storage of inspected devices.
• Flag recurring issues and provide feedback to improve processes and quality standards.

Profile:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-orientedQuality Check Inspectorto support our fast-growing operations team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient stock management, timely procurement, and seamless distribution of all stock across our stores.

Job Descriptions:

• Conduct a thorough inspection of used mobile devices (e.g., phones, tablets), including both functional and cosmetic checks.
• Assess key components such as screen, battery health, camera, buttons, and connectivity.
• Accurately grade devices based on internal quality standards.
• Verify trade-in devices against declared condition and highlight any discrepancies.
• Identify and clearly flag all defects (functional and cosmetic) for proper classification.
• Coordinate and route defective devices to the in-house repair team for further action.
• Ensure all inspected devices are properly created and updated in the system. (e.g. IMEI, model, condition, defect details, grading)
• Arrange and coordinate the delivery of devices to customers or retail stores after processing.
• Ensure all devices meet quality standards before release for sale.
• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to manage device flow and inventory.
• Maintain proper labelling, segregation, and storage of inspected devices.
• Flag recurring issues and provide feedback to improve processes and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; training will be provided.
• Prior experience in mobile phone inspection, repair, or a related field is an advantage.
• Good knowledge or strong interest in smartphone hardware (e.g., Apple, Samsung, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail with consistent and fair judgment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and system usage.
• Able to communicate in Chinese (spoken and/or written) to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• A high level of integrity and accountability in handling devices and grading decisions.
• 5.5-day work week, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Sunday rostered).
• Must be able to commit to at least one weekend shift.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
