Job summary

YAMAZAKI MAZAK SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a quality assurance professional to uphold our standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will produce QA/QC status reports, manage nonconformities, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure documentation and processes meet ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in quality auditing, quality assurance, or similar roles within manufacturing/engineering.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), including ISO 9001.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to present findings to management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all documents comply with internal policies and external regulatory standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and organizing required documentation.
• Assist in development, review, and maintenance of quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, inspection protocols, and quality manuals.
• Assist in maintaining document control systems, ensuring version control and archival of obsolete documents.
• Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement and measure impact of improvements.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and present findings to various levels of management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
• Detail‑oriented, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high‑quality training solutions tailored to the needs of machinery manufacturing.
• Familiarity with machining processes, CNC technologies, and machine tool operations is highly advantageous.
