Job summary

Hiwin Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a disciplined QA/QC professional to maintain ISO 9001 compliance, investigate defects, and ensure products meet drawings and customer requirements. The role collaborates with Production, Sales and other departments to drive quality improvements in precision components such as ball screws and linear guideways.

You will plan audits, review procedures, monitor quality indicators, and lead root-cause analysis with CAPA actions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing/precision engineering.
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and audits.
• Experience investigating product defects, non-conformities or customer complaints.
• Experience in root-cause analysis and corrective-action implementation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs and tolerances.
• Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methods.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continually improve ISO 9001 QMS.
• Ensure quality processes and records meet ISO 9001 requirements.
• Plan and coordinate internal and external ISO 9001 audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and records required for ISO 9001 audits.
• Coordinate with departments and external auditors during audits.
• Follow up on audit findings, non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Support management review meetings with quality data and reports.
• Manage QA activities for the manufacture of precision products.
• Review and maintain quality procedures, work instructions and inspection standards.
• Monitor inspection results and quality trends.
• Review non-conforming products and coordinate containment and corrective actions.
• Investigate product defects and customer complaints.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Prepare quality reports and non-conformance/corrective-action reports.
• Review inspection methods and provide guidance to QA Inspectors.
• Support calibration and proper use of measuring equipment.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales and other departments to resolve issues.
• Recommend improvements to manufacturing processes and QC controls.
• Maintain quality records and document control.

About the role

Responsible for maintaining product and process quality, investigating quality issues and supporting the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. • Support the control, calibration andproper use of measuring equipment.
• Work with Production, Sales and otherrelevant departments to resolve quality issues and meet customer requirements.
• Recommend improvements tomanufacturing processes, inspection methods and quality controls.
• Maintain accurate quality records andensure proper document control and traceability.
• Perform other quality-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant QA/QC experience in a manufacturing or precision-engineering environment
• Experience in maintaining an ISO 9001 Quality Management System and coordinating audits
• Experience in investigating product defects, non-conformities or customer complaints
• Experience in root-cause analysis and corrective-action implementation
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances
• Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methods, such as root-cause analysis, 5 Why, fishbone analysis and corrective and preventive action
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
