Job summary

HI-LEO Engineering and Construction Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking graduate engineers with 3-6 years of relevant experience for inspection and maintenance roles in refinery and oil & gas sectors.

The role involves scoping, planning and supervising on-stream and shutdown inspections, reviewing ITP and welding documentation, and delivering final inspection reports with actionable recommendations. You will work to ensure compliance with codes and standards while coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineers with 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Petroleum/Oil/Gas, Civil, Chemical or Industrial Engineering are acceptable.
• Experience in Refinery and Oil & Gas is a must.
• Knowledge/experience in welding inspection, structural fabrication, piping Isometric drawing and piping materials.

Responsibilities

• Review inspection history to summarize the integrity status of plant equipment and piping systems.
• Plan and carry out fixed equipment/piping inspection via on-stream RBI programs and downtime inspection activities including CUI/CUP.
• Supervise and coordinate on-stream and shutdown inspections for static equipment and in-service piping.
• Review ITP, WPS and method statements for in-service repair work of piping and pressure vessels.
• Witness PT, MPI, PMI, metallographic tube testing and hydrostatic tests for statutory equipment.
• Provide recommendations and timely updates on equipment degradation problems.
• Ensure QA on project construction and maintenance works to meet codes, standards, and specifications.
• Prepare final inspection reports with findings, abnormalities and recommendations.

Review the inspection history to summarizethe integrity status of the plant equipment and piping systems.

• Perform the scoping work and prepare thejob pack for process piping and in-service equipment based on engineeringassessment and annual inspection plan.
• Plan and carry out fixed equipment/pipinginspection via on-stream risk-based monitoring programs and downtime inspectionactivities including corrosion under Insulation (CUI) and corrosion under pipesupport (CUP) on process piping and equipment according to annual maintenanceplan
• Identifying the areas of special concernand deterioration (e.g. Dead legs, injection points, mix points, corrosionunder insulation and Low silicon Inspection).
• Supervision and coordination of allon-stream and shutdown inspection and activities for static equipment andin-service process piping.
• Review of inspection test plan, WPS andmethod statement for any in-service repair work of piping and pressure vessels.
• Witnessing of PT, MPI, PMI,metallographic tube testing and Hydro static test for statutory equipment.
• Provide recommendations and timelyupdates on equipment degradation problems.
• Provide quality assurance on projectconstruction and maintenance works to ensure compliance with applicable codes,standards and specifications.

• Read, understand project related ITP,procedures, specification requirements.
• Review documents and drawings as perspecification - Knowledge / experience about Piping Isometrics, P & ID,general arrangement drawings, Structural drawings, Weld Maps, welding symbols,Cutting Plans, Quality control procedures, Base Materials, and weldingconsumables.
• Inspection, review of mill certificates,Material verification, Inspection of Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, valves, nipples,plate tubes as per respective materials specifications, Codes, Standards & Client Specifications. Inspection / Witness & Review Stage wise activitiesearlier stage of spool fabrication
• Knowledge in welding inspection

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate Engineers with 3-6 years ofrelevant experience.
• Relevant Engineering Degree or Diploma inMechanical, Petroleum/Oil/Gas, Civil, Chemical or Industrial Engineering areacceptable.
• Experience in Refinery and Oil & Gasmust
• Knowledge/experience in weldinginspection, structural fabrication, piping Isometric drawing and pipingmaterials.
• Work Independently and can work inSingapore and other countries.
• Fluent Reading, Speaking and Writing inEnglish.
• Willing to commit 24 months contract/project completion.
