Job summary

OceanWay Engineering (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking engineers with 3–6 years of relevant experience for in‑service inspection and maintenance roles in Singapore and beyond.

You will plan, coordinate and execute fixed equipment and piping inspections including CUI/CUP, and hydrostatic tests for refinery and petrochemical plants. You will review ITPs, WPS and method statements, supervise on‑stream and shutdown inspections, and prepare final reports with findings and recommendations to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineers with 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Refinery and Oil & Gas is preferred.
• Fluent reading, speaking and writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Review the inspection history to summarize equipment integrity.
• Plan and carry out fixed equipment/piping inspections per plan and ITP.
• Coordinate on-stream and shutdown inspection activities and supervision.
• Review WPS and method statements for in-service repairs.

Job Description & Requirements

Review the inspection history to summarizethe integrity status of the plant equipment and piping systems.

• Perform the scoping work and prepare thejob pack for process piping and in-service equipment based on engineeringassessment and annual inspection plan.
• Plan and carry out fixed equipment/pipinginspection via on-stream risk-based monitoring programs and downtime inspectionactivities including corrosion under Insulation (CUI) and corrosion under pipesupport (CUP) on process piping and equipment according to annual maintenanceplan
• Identifying the areas of special concernand deterioration (e.g. Dead legs, injection points, mix points, corrosionunder insulation and Low silicon Inspection).
• Supervision and coordination of allon-stream and shutdown inspection and activities for static equipment andin-service process piping.
• Review of inspection test plan, WPS andmethod statement for any in-service repair work of piping and pressure vessels.
• Witnessing of PT, MPI, PMI,metallographic tube testing and Hydro static test for statutory equipment.
• Provide recommendations and timelyupdates on equipment degradation problems.
• Provide quality assurance on projectconstruction and maintenance works to ensure compliance with applicable codes,standards and specifications.
• Preparation of final inspection reportswith all findings, abnormalities and recommendations.
• Ensure quality of inspected items to meetproject requirements and standards.
• Inservice inspections in refineries / Oiland Gas / Petrochemical industries, such as corrosion under pipe support(CUPS), corrosion under insulation (CUI), Injection & Mix pointsinspections.
• Read, understand project related ITP,procedures, specification requirements.
• Review documents and drawings as perspecification - Knowledge / experience about Piping Isometrics, P & ID,general arrangement drawings, Structural drawings, Weld Maps, welding symbols,Cutting Plans, Quality control procedures, Base Materials, and weldingconsumables.
• Inspection, review of mill certificates,Material verification, Inspection of Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, valves, nipples,plate tubes as per respective materials specifications, Codes, Standards & Client Specifications. Inspection / Witness & Review Stage wise activitiesearlier stage of spool fabrication
• Knowledge in welding inspection

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate Engineers with 3-6 years ofrelevant experience.
• Relevant Engineering Degree or Diploma inMechanical, Petroleum/Oil/Gas, Civil, Chemical or Industrial Engineering areacceptable.
• Experience in Refinery and Oil & Gasmust
• Knowledge/experience in weldinginspection, structural fabrication, piping Isometric drawing and pipingmaterials.
• Work Independently and can work inSingapore and other countries.
• Fluent Reading, Speaking and Writing inEnglish.
• Willing to commit 24 months contract/project completion.
• Team Worker, Mature, Meticulous,Pro-Active Work Attitude & Work Independent.
