Job summary

NOVEXX PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA/QMS framework across its precision engineering manufacturing operations in Jurong and Tuas.

The role focuses on preventing quality issues, audit readiness, continuous improvement, and aligning with customer quality expectations. You will partner with the QC Manager to optimize shop-floor efficiency, drive reductions in defects and rework, and ensure ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485 compliance wherever

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on QA/QMS management in precision engineering manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; AS9100 and ISO 13485 is advantageous.
• Experience managing internal/external audits, CAPA systems, RCA, and 8D reporting.
• Exposure to high-mix, low-volume or high-tech manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead QMS governance, update policies, and ensure SOP compliance.
• Plan and host internal and external audits; drive CAPA/8D activities.
• Define and monitor quality KPIs; drive continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and QC to resolve issues.
• Oversee supplier quality governance and customer quality reviews.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to oversee our Quality Assurance framework, drive Quality Management System (QMS) excellence, and maintain regulatory compliance across our manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will focus on quality issue prevention, audit readiness, continuous improvement, and customer quality alignment.

You will work in close partnership with the QC Manager (who oversees daily product inspections, defect detection, and QC shop‑floor operations) to optimize departmental efficiency and elevate quality performance.

Key Responsibilities

• QMS Leadership & Regulatory Compliance:
  • Oversee, maintain, and continuously elevate the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 , AS9100 (Aerospace), and ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) standards, as well as customer quality specifications.
  • Oversee document control, record management, and end-to-end product traceability.
• Audit Management & Corrective Actions:
  • Plan, coordinate, and host internal, customer, vendor, and third-party certification/regulatory audits.
  • Lead cross-functional Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and 8D problem-solving methodologies to resolve quality non-conformances and prevent recurrence.
• Quality Performance & Continuous Improvement:
  • Establish quality metrics/KPIs, track performance, and lead continuous process improvement projects.
  • Drive initiatives to systematically reduce rejection rates, rework, scrap costs, and customer complaints.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and QC teams to troubleshoot complex quality issues.
• Supplier & Customer Quality Governance:
  • Serve as the key QA representative for customer quality reviews, inquiries, and audit requirements.
  • Oversee supplier quality governance and incoming vendor quality compliance.
• Departmental Synergy:
  • Collaborate closely with the QC Manager to streamline operational workflows, eliminate process bottlenecks, and optimize Quality Department efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands‑on QA/QMS management or supervisory experience within precision engineering, high‑mix low‑volume, or high‑tech manufacturing environments.
• Standards Expertise: Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 is required; experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 13485 is highly advantageous.
• Industry Background: Prior exposure to Precision Engineering, Aerospace, Medical Devices, or Semiconductor industries is preferred.
• Technical Competencies: Proven track record in managing external/internal audits, CAPA systems, RCA, and 8D reporting.
