Job summary

SSW Logistics Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee Controlled Drug operations at the Central Warehouse, distributing therapeutic products to Public Healthcare Institutions while meeting regulatory QA requirements.

You will act as the CD Responsible Person, manage GMP/GDP activities, support audits, track environmental monitoring, investigations, and SOP reviews, and assist in staff training and regulatory registrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) or equivalent recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and active practice.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Pharmacist.
• Experience in Controlled Drug handling and QA in GMP/GDP environment will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, proactive and meticulous.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Act as the CD Responsible Person in CD Wholesale Licence.
• Act as point of contact for CD related operations, KPIs and audits.
• Ensure receipt, storage, checking, distribution and disposal of Controlled Drugs are in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Act as Authorized Person (AP) or Delegated AP (DAP) for final release of repacked therapeutic products.
• Assist with GMP related activities.
• Review weekly environmental monitoring logs and manage reportable excursions.
• Review QA records such as calibration, mapping, pest control and cleaning records.
• Create/update training materials and provide initial and refresher training.
• Participate in investigations and root cause analyses for nonconformities, medication errors and near misses.
• Assist in SOP and work instruction revisions to ensure efficacy and relevance.
• Support implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in auditing functions based on ISO/GMP/GDP standards.
• Assist in registration of therapeutic products/medical devices.
• Assist in sustainability carbon footprint tracking.

JOB SUMMARY

The candidate is responsible for overseeing Controlled Drug operations in Central Warehouse distributing therapeutic products to all Public Healthcare Institutions. Assist in meeting quality assurance/regulatory requirements in National Central Fill Pharmacy and secondary assembly of therapeutic products.

Controlled Drug (CD)

• Act as the CD Responsible Person in CD Wholesale Licence


• Act as point of contact for CD related operations, key performance indicators and audits


• Ensure receipt, storage, checking, distribution and disposal of Controlled Drugs are in accordance with operational and regulatory requirements

Secondary Assembly / GMP

• Act as the Authorized Person(AP) or Delegated Authorized Person (DAP) for final release of repacked therapeutic products


• Assist with GMP related activities

Quality Assurance / Regulatory

• Review weekly environmental monitoring logs (temperature/RH) and manage reportable environmental excursions


• Review other QA related records such as calibration, mapping, pest control and cleaning records meet requirements.


• Create/update training materials and provide initial and refresher training


• Participate in investigations ,root cause analysis and report writing for nonconformities, medication errors and near misses.


• Assist in the revision and review of quality and environment standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure continued efficacy and relevance


• Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives


• Assist in auditing various functions based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP and/or GDP standards


• Assist in therapeutic product/medical device registration


• Assist in sustainability carbon footprint tracking


• Other activities as required by Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) or equivalent recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Council


• Full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and in active practice


• Minimum 1 year of experience as Pharmacist


• Experience in Controlled Drug handling and quality assurance in GMP/GDP environment will be advantageous


• Strong analytical skills, proactive and meticulous


• Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team


• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• 1. Usual Working Hours: Mon- Thurs, 8.30am to 6pm; Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm
