Job summary

Thales Singapore is seeking a Senior Bids & Projects Quality Assurance Manager to assure deliverables align with customer requirements and regulatory standards. The role focuses on defect prevention, continuous improvement, and managing risk across bids and projects.

You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, implement ISO 9001:2015, and lead internal audits while maintaining strong relationships with Customer Quality managers. An engineering background and 5+ years in QA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Engineering (systems with SW development principles)
• Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements
• Experience in quality management within a systems engineering environment
• Audit qualifications desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manage customer feedback ensuring corrective and preventive actions are developed and implemented
• Build customer confidence by maintaining links with Customer’s Quality managers
• Ensure Customer needs are understood and the right quality standards are defined
• Assure quality throughout the Bid and Project lifecycle
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and Quality function across entities
• Attend and participate in Bid and Project meetings and reviews
• Analyze data to prevent identifiable risks
• Fulfilling the duty of alert and veto
• Monitor and assess project execution with independent quality advice
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and certification requirements
• Foster teamwork across Bids and Projects and related functions
• Understand and apply the Thales Leadership Model
• Other duties as assigned
