Job summary

ST Engineering seeks an experienced QA Manager to lead QA activities across projects from initiation to delivery in Singapore. You will serve as the primary QA representative and customer interface, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and quality plans.

You will oversee QA processes, drive non-conformance investigations and CAPA, and mentor QA Engineers. Strong ISO 9001 knowledge and SAP experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing, engineering, MRO or defence industries.
• Strong experience in QA, inspection, supplier quality management and CAPA.
• Proven ability to independently manage project QA activities and customer engagements.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, audits, inspections and QA practices.
• Experience handling non-conformances and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA activities from project initiation to delivery.
• Act as the primary QA representative and customer interface for quality matters.
• Independently manage project quality requirements and serve as QA Management Representative.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and outgoing QA activities including inspections and acceptance.
• Lead incoming quality inspections and verification of purchased parts and subcontracted products.
• Review and maintain quality documentation such as ATP, ATR, inspection records, and quality plans.
• Drive investigation and closure of non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and QMS requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Procurement and Project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA Engineers and Inspectors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer, Quality Manager or Management.
