Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, quality management or related field.
• 5+ years QA experience.
• 2+ years in a QA management role.
• Experience leading QA teams, including training and performance management.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, frameworks.
• Experience with automated test suites: Selenium, TestNG, QTP.
• Experience with performance, load, and security testing.
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Proven ability to implement QA processes in Agile.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team in developing and implementing quality assurance processes and strategies.
• Develop and enforce quality standards and procedures.
• Monitor and analyse key quality metrics to track product performance.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to integrate quality standards.
• Oversee planning and execution of audits, inspections, and tests.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including test plans and reports.
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities for QA staff.
• Oversee daily QA department operations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Lead the development and execution of manual and automated testing strategies.
• Perform risk assessments and mitigate quality risks throughout the product lifecycle.
• Monitor testing progress, defect trends, and product performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
• Conduct periodic team performance reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all product releases meet defined quality criteria.
• Identify and implement new tools and technologies to enhance QA processes.
• Manage and mentor the QA team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, methodologies, and regulatory changes.
