Job summary

Tung Lok Catering is seeking a dedicated Food Safety & Halal Assurance Officer to manage the FSMS, HACCP, and ISO 22000 across operations in Singapore. You will lead hygiene inspections, audits, and corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance and high product quality.

The role includes Halal compliance oversight, Halal audits, and ongoing training for staff, with a focus on safety, sanitation and sustainability initiatives within a dynamic catering environment.

Qualifications

• Maintain and monitor the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in accordance with HACCP, ISO 22000 and other applicable international food safety standards required by business operations
• Conduct routine hygiene inspections (internal and external sites), internal audits and verification activities to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and verify CCPs and OPRPs, temperature control, cleaning and sanitation programs, pest control, and waste management systems
• Assist in the investigation of food safety incidents, customer complaints, and non-conformities, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
• Develop and implement SOPs for food operations
• Conduct food safety, hygiene and SOP training for food handlers and operational staff to ensure compliance
• Support product quality assurance initiatives to ensure consistent quality and regulatory compliance
• Facilitate internal and external inspection / audits (certification bodies and regulatory agencies)

Responsibilities

• Monitor workplace hazards and support sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and resource efficiency
• Perform other duties to support food safety, quality assurance, hygiene, work safety and sustainability objectives
