Job summary

RMR INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer in Singapore to ensure aerospace components, systems and materials meet AS9100, ISO 9001 and FAA/EASA requirements.

You will inspect parts, review drawings and GD&T, perform audits, investigate NCRs, implement CAPA, and collaborate with production and supplier teams to uphold regulatory compliance and drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, EASA requirements.
• Familiar with quality control tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5 Why.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, composites, sheet metal, assembly).
• Familiarity with NDT methods is an advantage.

Job description

A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer in the aerospace industry ensures that all aircraft components, systems, materials, and manufacturing processes meet strict aviation safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA/EASA regulations)
• Perform inspection of aerospace parts, assemblies, and materials
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes
• Conduct internal audits and supplier audits
• Investigate non-conformance reports (NCR) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
• Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams
• Maintain quality documentation and traceability records
• Support root cause analysis for defects and failures
• Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma) initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of aerospace standards: AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, EASA

• Ability to read engineering drawings & GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, gauges)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, composites, sheet metal, assembly)
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods is an advantage
