Job summary

Soitec seeks a Quality Engineer to manage Non-Quality Events (NQEs) and monitor Quality Gates (QGs) along the production line. You will analyze NQE contents, execute containment actions, and prepare MRB packages for reviews.

Additionally, you will track Quality Engineering activities, perform lab analyses, and contribute to defect analyses and risk assessments. Strong data analysis skills with JMP and Klarity are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma – 2 years in manufacturing.
• Higher NITEC – 3 years relevant experience.
• NITEC – 6 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record NQEs from the production line.
• Review, analyse and validate NQE contents.
• Execute immediate containment actions for NQE (e.g., hold lot in MES).
• Prepare MRB information packages and event chronology for MRB meetings.
• Track and report Quality Engineering activities (NQEs, MRBs).
• Monitor and record QG results from the production line.
• Perform lab analysis on QG failed parts (e.g., SEM/EDX).
• Participate in defect analysis and risk assessments.
• Propose short-term actions after detection of QG failed lots to ensure product/process integrity.
• Data analysis: extract, plot, and analyze capability and trend data using JMP and Klarity.
• Prepare Quality Engineering reports and KPIs.
• Provide ad hoc support to engineers as required.
