Job summary

AIM RECRUIT CONSULTANCY PTE. LIMITED in Singapore Tuas is seeking a QS Manager to lead cost estimation, take-offs, and tender submissions.

The role requires Diploma/Degree in QS, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering, with ability to read architectural, structural, and façade drawings. You will prepare budgets, cashflow forecasts, monitor costs and variations, obtain quotations, coordinate with internal teams, and assist in contract administration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in QS, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and façade shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, cost take-offs and Bills of Quantities.
• Review project drawings, specifications, tender documents and monitor costs.
• Prepare project budget, cost report, cashflow forecast and monitor budgets and cost variations.
• Preparing tender submissions, quotations and cost proposals.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare cost comparisons and assist in subcontractor/supplier selection.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure tender submission and assist administer contracts matters.
• Prepare and follow-up on progress claims, payment applications and variation orders.
• Maintain proper records of contractual documents, measurements and cost-related correspondence.
• Preparing and negotiating final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Liaise with Project Manager/engineer/consultant/subcontractors/suppliers on quantity/cost-matters.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings, specifications and contract documents.
