Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore construction industry.
• Experience in waterproofing works will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of construction contracts, progress claims, and variation orders.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs based on drawings, specifications, and site measurements.
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, tender submissions, and budgetary proposals.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and maintain cost control records.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison sheets.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams for material pricing and sourcing.
• Prepare payment responses and assist in contract administration.
• Maintain proper records of claims, quotations, and project cost documents.
• Prepare waterproofing shop drawings based on approved architectural and structural drawings.
• Prepare construction details, section drawings, and method statement sketches.
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Amend drawings according to consultant and client comments.
• Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure all drawings are updated and properly filed.
• Liaise with main contractor, consultants, architects, main contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Attend project meetings when required.
• Assist in preparation of technical submissions, material submissions, and method statements.
• Support project documentation and filing systems.
