Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a QMS Engineer to join its Singapore team, driving end‑to‑end quality management across people, processes and technology. You will ensure ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance where applicable, improve processes, and close audit findings through collaboration with sites and auditors.

You will lead data‑driven improvements, leverage AI and RPA tools, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement while aligning with Micron’s core values and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron
• Structured thinking and data-driven approaches toidentifyroot causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Attention to details to ensureaccuracy and compliance in documentation, reporting, and execution of tasks.
• Familiar with AI tools such asPython, Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerBI and Tableau
• Familiarwith engineering principles, quality systems such asFailure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Change Management, Measurement System Analysis, Calibration and other quality and statistical methods and tools will beadvantageous
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.

• Own and improverespectiveMicron’s QMS processesanddrive endtoend process clarity, interactions, and documentation.
• EnsureandImproveCompliance(e.g., ISO 9001; IATF 16949 for automotive lines), coordinate with sites and auditors, and close findings to standard.
• Collaborate with Key Stakeholders to collect requiredinputsand ensure alignment
• To ensure the QMS processchangesare cascaded to thesiteteam.
• Track andmonitorkey performance indicators related to the respective QMS processes.
• Resolvenon-compliancein the Quality System.
• Assistin planning and supporting audits.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and projects andparticipatein cross‑functional improvement activities.
• Track and Manage CostBudget
• Utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI)toolsand Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies to enhance effectiveness and driveefficiencyimprovementsin the QMS processes.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
