Job summary

ECAAS Certification International is hiring an experienced third party Auditor to plan and conduct audits across diverse industries. You will review management systems, collect evidence of compliance, and coordinate audit teams to ensure thorough assessments and timely reporting.

Role requires mature professional knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to make sound audit decisions in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Completed a course of study involving at least 600 hours direct contact with an award from a recognised body.
• Documentary evidence of the educational standard will be required.
• Alternative: auditors with 4 years' experience and satisfactory educational standard.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits (stage 1, stage 2, surveillance and recertification).
• Review the client’s management system and its implementation.
• Collect objective evidence of compliance with requirements.
• Assign tasks to audit team members where applicable.
• Report findings and discuss with the audit team.
• Decide on compliance and assemble an audit report.
• Maintain audit records and promote company programs.

ECAAS Certification International is an accredited Certification Body that provides internationally recognised Certification Services for Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.

As a result of growth across all areas of our business, we are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced third party Auditor. As the industries audited will vary from client to client, no two days are ever the same. We require a person that can adapt to changing circumstances and varying workloads, ensuring that quality work is delivered and an impeccable eye for detail is always maintained.

Responsibility

• Plan and conduct audits (including document reviews, stage 1 pre-assessments, stage 2 certification audits, surveillance audits, triennial recertification audits, corrective action reviews and follow-up audits)
• Review the client’s Management System and its implementation and/or elements thereof
• Collection of objective evidence of compliance with applicable requirements
• Assign specific tasks to audit team members (where applicable)
• Report and discuss findings with the audit team members (where applicable)
• Reach acceptable decisions about the compliance of the client’s Management System with applicable requirements
• Assemble an audit report
• Maintain audit records
• Make recommendations for maintaining, granting, renewal or suspension of certification
• Understand and promote company programs

Demonstrated Capability

• Has satisfied the criteria and demonstrated the ability to manage an audit team and co-ordinate all aspects of a complete management system audit to ISO 19011:2018 and ISO 17021-1:2015 requirements.
• Has satisfied the criteria and demonstrated the competency to conduct management system audits to the ISO 17021-2:201, ISO 17021-3:2017 and/or ISO 17021-10:2018 requirements.
• Perform duties requiring the application of mature professional knowledge, wi th scope for individual accomplishment and coordination of more difficult assignments
• Recommendations may be reviewed for soundness of judgement but are usually regarded as technically accurate and feasible.
• Able to make responsible decisions on matters assigned.
• Work is carried out within guidelines requiring conformity with overall objectives, relative priorities and necessary cooperation with Client Services team.

Requirements

Educational requirements

Will have successfully completed a course of study, after completing secondary education, involving a minimum of 600 hours direct contact and leading to an award from a recognised body, college or university. Equivalent distance learning courses or corporate/professional membership of a recognised professional institution will also be recognised.

In all cases, documentary evidence of the educational standard claimed will be required. Copies of degree or certificates will be required as objective evidence to satisfy the educational requirement.

As an alternative, auditors may be considered if they can demonstrate 4 years experience and they have achieved a satisfactory educational standard including oral and written communication skills necessary to conduct and/or manage audits.

Management Systems Experiencerequirements

Will have a minimum of 3 year's relevant experience in the implementation or application of certifiable management systems which provides the practical knowledge necessary to effectively audit such systems. The management system experience required may be concurrent with work experience but must have been achieved in the last 6 years.

Auditing Experience requirement

Will have maintained and be able to provide evidence of an up to date audit log to demonstrate that their auditing experience was gained under the prescribed conditions and within the required time frame.
